Planning the trip

Before showing you the exact (but transformable) plan of our upcoming road trip, I've got to tell you something. Last night I showed my husband my yesterday's blog post. He looked at me in a funny way for a while and then said "I take it we're not going to be doing any LESS travelling in the near future". Well, no sirree!! ..we're not! For a second there I actually considered telling him about my recent plans of taking some time off work and travelling around the world, but then again it might not have been the best moment for it. Let him first get over his exhaustion after a 12-hour car ride and kids yelling in the backseat, and then let him enjoy the luxury cruise on the Caribbean and the excellent American customer service. Then I might have to mention to him, at some very carefully-chosen moment, that we are going to travel around to world together and he'll just have to cope with it somehow. Poor luv'.

The next thing he said was that if we're going to do this travelling-'n-blogging -thingy, I have two choices. The first one is to travel to just

Or, if Somewhere doesn't sound exciting enough, we should go to 70.000 tons of metal -cruise. If these were the only two options you had, which one would you prefer?

Now here's our plan for the road trip we're starting this Saturday:



6159 km and 72 hours, if driven non-stop. Either it's going to be a piece of cake, as we remember it having been two years ago, or it will require unbearably long hours of butt-muscle training.

Uh-oh, it started raining and thundering so I guess I'd better go back inside (I've been sitting outside in the sun) and continue tomorrow!
