I think it's about time I got started with blogging. So many holiday trips already made and so few things I've managed to share with my friends and family. I hope I'll now be able to take you along to our next trips, first across Europe to Italy next week and then to the western Caribbean in February 2014. It seems that I am always thinking about the next journey to God-knows-where even if the already planned vacation hasn't even started yet.. I only feel calm knowing that there is for sure another trip coming after the very next one. I think my mom has once or twice called me restless and I reckon she's absolutely right; the world is so big and I've only got so much time to see some of the amazing, unforgettable places of the world!
I want to thank one of my dearest friends of all times, Heidi, for having given me the first idea of writing a blog about our travels. Hi, Heidi! *wave* I think what she said to me on Facebook (when we were about to leave on our first car trip to Europe two years ago) was that please continue your status updates during the trip as we, who don't go anywhere, want to hear all about it! Well, sweetiepie, here it is, my travel blog. And I promise to tell you all about it.
